01 · Individual & Family
Self-employed, between jobs, or just on your own for coverage? We compare marketplace (ACA) plans, check whether subsidies can lower your premium, and help you enroll — at no cost to you.
If you’re in Nevada or Utah, we can send a self-serve quote link after a short form. California, Texas, and Hawaii don’t have that engine yet — those states go to a consult so we can shop it with you.
02 · Who this is for
03 · Subsidies
Most people who buy marketplace coverage qualify for a premium tax credit. Eligibility is based on household income and size, and the math surprises people in both directions: families who assumed they earned too much often qualify, and the self-employed have planning options most don’t know about.
Checking takes minutes, costs nothing, and is exactly the kind of thing we do in a first conversation.
04 · When you can enroll
Open Enrollment is the annual window when anyone can enroll or switch (roughly November 1 – January 15; some states run longer — California, for example).
Special Enrollment Periods cover the rest of the year. Losing other coverage, moving, getting married, having a baby, and certain income levels can each open a personal window, usually 60 days. If you think you missed your chance, ask before assuming.
Already covered but never re-shopped? Plans and prices change every year. An annual review is free and often finds a better fit.
05 · Questions
Nothing. Brokers are paid by the carriers, and your premium is identical whether you enroll through us, directly, or through the marketplace on your own.
Two likely reasons: the quote didn’t include your subsidy, or it was based on a quick guess at your income. A real eligibility check often changes the picture.
Yes — job changes, moves, and family events are exactly when a broker earns their keep. Reach out within 60 days of the event.
