Countdown until Medicare Annual Enrollment opens
Until AEP opens October 15, 2026
This counts down to when the federal review window opens. It is not a sales deadline. You can review and stay.
Liking last year’s plan is not the same as it fitting next year. Formularies move. Networks move. Costs get rebuilt. Annual Enrollment exists so you can look. It does not exist so you have to switch.
The window is October 15 through December 7. January 1 is when the new rules stick. Doing nothing is allowed. Doing nothing without looking is how people find out in February that a doctor or a drug is out.
Five checks
Doctors and hospitals you actually use. Still in network on Advantage? Still accepting Medicare if you are on Original plus Supplement?
The prescriptions you take, not the ones in a brochure. Tiers and prior authorization change.
How you used care this year. More specialists. Travel. A surgery on the calendar.
Your ANOC. What your current plan says will change. That letter is not junk.
Anything else: VA, employer, retiree, a spouse’s plan. Those change the right answer.
I will not list premiums or extra benefits here. Those are county- and plan-specific. They belong in a comparison after we know your doctors and drugs.
What the appointment is
Booking does not enroll you. For Advantage or Part D, federal rules require a short Scope of Appointment first. It lists the product types you asked to discuss. There is no required waiting period after you sign it. We will not call unless you ask us to.
If your situation is stable, you read the ANOC, and you confirmed doctors and drugs, you can do this yourself. Get help if anything moved, if the mail is loud, or if you are choosing between Advantage and Supplement for the first time.
Book a free consult or send a message. Call 702-627-2605. By calling the number above, you will be connected to a licensed insurance agent.
No plan prices, extra benefits, or carrier names on this page. Those belong in a comparison after we know your doctors and drugs.
